Inukjuak, formerly called Port Harrison, is a small community located on the east coast of Hudson Bay. The population is approximately 1,600, with the majority being Inuit. Our everyday lives include many traditional hunting and gathering activities. Traditional culture and values are still strong aspects of the Inuit lifestyle; with the support of the Unaaq Men's Association, this heritage will continue to be a part of Inuit life in the community for many years to come.
